Announcing the 2021 FutureFest Winner
Congratulations to Cary Simowitz and his inspiring script All the Oxytocin in Your Fingertips, selected as the winner of the 2021 FutureFest.
FutureFest is the Dayton Playhouse's annual festival of new dramatic works. The 2021 festival was the first conducted virtually, with all productions and adjudications streaming online. Directed by Fran Pesch, with a cast of hearing and deaf actors, the streaming production of Simowitz's winning script is still available for viewing through the Dayton Playhouse Vimeo Channel through July 25, 2021. Tickets to this and all other FutureFest finalist productions are on sale now.
The Dayton Playhouse gratefully acknowledges the vital financial support of the Montgomery County Arts & Culture District, whose generous Special Projects Grant, administered by CultureWorks, supported the transition of FutureFest to a virtual format for 2021.
